To mark 38th anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero in San Salvador, Ruben Zamora, former Salvadoran diplomat and politician is visiting Britain and will be speaking about the huge social and economic problems faced today in El Salvador; and how he imagines Oscar Romero might have responded. Later this year Romero, one of the great figures of the 20th century Latin American Church, will be proclaimed a 'Saint'.by Pope Francis. Ruben Zamora's events are as follows:

Cardiff - Thursday March 15th at the Cornerstone Centre @ 7.30pm;  Cambridge -  Friday March 16th  Wesley Methodist Church, Christ’s Pieces @ 7.00pm;  Liverpool - Monday March 19th at Liverpool Hope University @ 7.00pm;  Leeds - Tuesday March 20th at  Mill Hill Chapel, City Square @7.00pm.

‘Peace – the product of Justice and Love’  is the theme for the Ecumenical Service to mark the 38th anniversary of Oscar Romero’s martyrdom to be held at St Martin-in-the-Fields Church in Trafalgar Square, London on Saturday March 17th at 11.00am. Ruben will give the Address at the Service.
