Stardust is a provocative and sensitive play that questions the social stigma left by the narco-history of Colombia and the world’s responsibility in a trade that compromises the livelihood of thousands of people in Latin America. It will be presented at Southwark Playhouse on 11th, 12th and 14th of October 2017.

Blackboard Theatre presents its latest production: Stardust, a provocative and sensitive show that questions the social stigma left by the narco-history of Colombia and the world’s responsibility in a trade that compromises the livelihood of thousands of people in Latin America.

Combining powerful visual imagery and incredible physicality, Blackboard Theatre – and an extraordinary team of talented artists – brings together contrasting stories from a range of Colombian voices telling the journey that turns the coca leaf - considered sacred by indigenous communities in Latin America - into a line of cocaine.

Stardust has been chosen as one of the Artist in Residence at CASA Festival 2017 and will be presented at Southwark Playhouse on 11th, 12th and 14th of October 2017.
