Born in Barcelona, Venezuela, and growing up in neighbouring city Puerto La Cruz, Baby Cocada is a singer, songwriter, producer and DJ, Baby Cocada is renowned for her distinctive androgynous vocals to reggaetón rhythms. She is co-founder of SUZIO, alongside Manuka Honey. Music was always something natural to her as her father is a  comedian/actor/song-writer; her first song was Como No Voy a Decirlo by Luis Silva which is a Venezuelan Folklore song. The inspiration behind the name came from the fondness to the word ‘baby’ because of the way it sounded.  ‘Cocada’ is the name of a coconut drink  that is very typical in her hometown and a sort of homage to her culture.
