Jesus “Aguaje” Ramos & his Buena Vista Orchestra
The Buena Vista Orchestra, led by Jesus “Aguaje” Ramos, original trombonist of The Buena Vista Social Club and featuring key players from throughout the history of Cuban and Afro-Cuban music, is a celebration encompassing everything from Guajira, Son, Danzon, Son Montuno, Pilon, Cha Cha Cha, Changui and Bolero to Guaracha, Ritmo Batanga, Afro, Latin Jazz and more. The band will embark on a 3-date UK tour in May 2025, visiting London on May 9th, Glasgow on May 12th, and Manchester on May 14th.

Joining Ramos (trombone, singer, composer, arranger music director, conductor) for the Buena Vista Orchestra is an all-star ensemble including original BVSC members Luis “Betun” Mariano Valiente Marin (congas, bongo) and Fabian Garcia (bass). Rounding out the lineup is Lorena Lazara Ramos Diaz (trombone, vocals), Andy Abad Acosta (keys), Aldo Isidro Miranda Alvarez (vocals), Geidi Chapman (vocals, guitar), Antonio Remigio
Rubio Borayo (timbal, percussion), and Angel Menendez Otero (emcee, vocals).
