With "Flow Desde Chiquito” (flow since he was little), Feid has become the latest on the list of Medellin’s home-grown talent.

Directamente desde (directly from) the famously renowned world capital of Reggeaton, Medellin, this singer/songwriter, producer and musician, has been called to the spotlight even more so since releasing the album The Academy with The Avengers of Reggaeton: J Quiles, Sech, Dalex, Lenny Tavares and Dimelo Flow.

His artistic name Feid “Asi Como Suena” resonates with the word faith; faith he has always had, both in God and his talent. Born as Salomon Villada Hoyos (August 19, 1992), Feid grew up in an artistic environment, Inculcated with a creative thinking mindset since an early age by his father, a teacher and lecturer of art history at the University of Antioquia. Influenced by his parents, he developed an interest - and skill set - in visual arts.

Although his first encounter with music (lessons) was learning how to play the clarinet and read music at the age of nine, his true passion was and has always been singing. Beginning out as a member of the children’s choir at his father’s workplace “La Universidad de Antioquia” and then at his local school, Feid sang throughout his childhood and adolescence, gaining approval from hifellow classmates and family members.

During his college years, he decided he would devote his life to reggaeton and began writing songs since 2008, working with some of Medellin’s home-bred line of now-famous producers: Sky, Mosty and Bull Nene. For years he was behind the scenes, producing and writing lyrics with artists such as Alberto Stylee, Nicky Jam, Wolfine. Overall he has written more than 150 songs including hits such as Reykon’s Secretos and J Balvin’s hit Ginza, which landed him an ASCAP Latin music award for his participation as co-writer.

In 2015 he issued his debut solo album Asi Como Suena which charted in his motherland,  Colombia. Serving as his mentor and helping hand in the industry, fellow paisa artist Balvin, jumped on his single Que Raro (2016) which became Feid’s first international hit. The video features Balvin inviting him up on stage during a live concert in their natal Medellin.

That same year Feid released Morena, which was also successful across radio stations and clubs. In 2017, he released another album with the same title Asi Como Suena, this time featuring collaborations with Jory Boy(S.O.S), Nacho(911) and Reykon(Mazucamba) and his solo singles LLuvia and Ahora.

Last year he released his second studio album “19” which included singles Buena Mala and Bad Wine as well as a remix version of his 2018 single Sigueme, this time accompanied by Panama’s latest and most in-demand sensa-Sech. The song reached over 111 million views on Youtube, profiling the two artists as the new “romantic reggaetoneros”.

In 2019 he collaborated with the Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy Maluma on FRESH KERIAS, a collaboration he admits had always looked forward to.

He released his brand new album last week FERXXO VOL.1: M.O.R (Mensajes on repeat), a compilation of songs that resemble his smooth paisa swag; sensual with a bit of hopeless romantic. Featuring collaboration singles Fresh Kerias(ft. Maluma), Porfa(ft. J Quiles) and Borraxxa(ft. Manuel Turizo), it is clear that the paisa perreo has been undeniably ascending and dominating the charts with a much softer/smoother tone and lyrical style than the usual aggressiveness of its dembow riddim; Medellin has become the hub for a new wave of Urbano with the Colombian touch.
