One of the most important salsa singers ever, the Caracas-born ‘Sonero del Mundo’ has the whole package: as a sonero, he's up there with legends such as Hector Lavoe, Ismael Rivera or Beny Moré and, just as importantly, Oscar’s bands are amongst the greatest salsa orchestras, rivalling those of the 40s and 50s in New York and Cuba from Perez Prado and Machito to Tito Puente, Los Van Van or El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.
