“This year marks 20 years since Section 28 was repealed. This law, which banned the “promotion of homosexuality” in the UK was an attach on LGBTQ+ visibility”. https://www.stonewall.org.uk/our-work/campaigns/lgbt-history-month-2023
Peter Scalpello is a queer poet and therapist from Glasgow. Their work has appeared in Five Dials, Granta, The London Magazine and The New York Times, among other publications. Their first collection, Limbic, is published by Cipher Press. Twitter @p_scalpello.
Golnoosh Nour is the author of the Ministry of Guidance and Rocksong - both shortlisted for the Polari Prize. She teaches Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Reading.
Keith Jarrett is a poet, fiction writer, playwright, and educator. He is the author of the poetry collection Selah (Burning Eye Books, 2017), the play Safest Spot in Town (2017), as well as the poetry pamphlet I Speak Home (Eyewear, 2015).
Eevee is a musician and musical instrument accessibility researcher from Valencia and based in London since 2011. They have been writing poetry since they were first sectioned under the mental health act in 2016. Their writing is an attempt at playful exploration of the paradoxes of the mind, queer love and kink, grief for the dying planet, and the polarity between free will and the force of destiny, which drives us towards infinity.
Anna Fux is a queer German-Filipina visual artist, editor and writer. Her practice intersects cultural criticism, photography and social justice movements. Fux co-founded Pai Pai Mag, the first online magazine for the spanish speaking Asian diaspora. In 2021 she was one of the artists in residency at Matadero Madrid, which resulted in her photobook Same Same But Different published in 2022.
