El Rincon Latino (The Latin corner) has been providing local residents and visitors with excellence service since 1989, at first as a delicatessen café to then become a restaurant in 1991. Some members of the Rubiera-Iglesias family started working at El Rincon Latino in 1991 for the previous owner. Back then, there were six restaurants in Clapham – currently there are over 60 eateries. Clapham has changed a lot over the years; we remain constant and true to ourselves. We took the restaurant in ownership in October 1997. Since then, it has been non-stop. Whilst the family have grown, (there have been few new members to the already large family hold), so did the loyal clientele. We pride ourselves in the provision of authentic food. There isn't any better gratification for a restaurateur other than to see our patrons leave pleased and satisfied. And to see them come back! El Rincon Latino -Spanish tapas bar & restaurant- serves Paellas, Spanish & Colombian tapas. Our encounter with Colombian cuisine comes from when we originally started working in El Rincon Latino for the previous proprietors.
