Paladar brings the taste of Latin America to the heart of London between Waterloo and Elephant & Castle, near the Imperial War Museum. Paladar is not only a great local neighbourhood restaurant but also a destination in itself, showcasing the best of Latin American food, wines, cocktails, spirits, coffee, music and art.

Chef Jose Rubio’s creative menu takes inspiration from Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Cuba. The flavours and ingredients are authentic, but the dishes are elevated to a finer level and presented 'London style'. The menu is completely gluten-free and offers a good range of vegetarian and vegan choices.

The exclusively Latin America wine list offers a good range of bottles and by-the-glass wines at affordable prices, while the spirits and inventive cocktails are also all from the region.

Adjoining the main restaurant, the Bodega houses the popular "Chef's Table" which is perfect for parties of 8-10 people, affording a view into the theatrical open kitchen. The Bodega also sells the restaurant's great selection of wines and wine accessories at retail prices!

The Blue Wall in the Bodega is adorned with the seasonally changing murals of Irma Pellegrini's "Little Wooden People" - all for sale. Regular changing art exhibitions also adorn the walls of the main dining room, featuring up-and-coming Latin American artists/photographers or art/photography inspired by Latin America.

The walled garden to the rear is a well-kept secret and an amazing sun-trap on warm summer days. It also offers delightful candlelit dinners under the stars. Although we can guarantee warm Latin American hospitality and great food we are, sadly, unable to guarantee warm Latin American weather, so we only confirm tables in the garden on the day!
